Understanding Billing

Learn how billing works in Devpilot, including workspace subscriptions, supported payment gateways, and where to find plans, payments, and payment methods.

Understanding Billing

Devpilot uses a subscription-based billing model tied to your workspaces. You choose a plan that matches the resources you need, pay through one of the supported gateways, and Devpilot keeps your subscription active for the duration of the plan. This page explains how billing is organised inside Devpilot so you know what to expect and where to go.

How Billing Works

When you subscribe to a paid plan, Devpilot creates a subscription tied to a specific workspace. The subscription defines the resource quotas available in that workspace — such as the number of projects, apps, and daily deployments you can run. You can hold different subscriptions for different workspaces.

Paid plans are billed on a monthly cycle of 30 days. At the end of the cycle the subscription can be renewed by paying again through your chosen gateway.

Where to Find Billing

All billing activity lives in Settings > Billing inside the dashboard. From there you can:

  • View and subscribe to plans on the Plans page
  • See your active subscription and its expiry date
  • Review your payment history
  • Add or remove saved cards (Stripe)
  • Apply a coupon code at checkout

Supported Payment Gateways

Devpilot accepts payments through three gateways. You pick the one that works best for you at checkout.

Stripe

Pay with credit or debit cards. Stripe is the only gateway that lets you save a card on file inside Devpilot for later use.

PayPal

Pay using your PayPal balance, linked bank account, or cards stored in your PayPal wallet. Useful if you do not want to enter card details directly.

Flutterwave

Pay with local cards, bank transfer, or mobile money. Intended for users in Africa who prefer local payment channels.

Saved payment methods currently only apply to Stripe cards. PayPal and Flutterwave are used at the point of checkout but are not stored in Devpilot for later reuse.

Supported Currencies

Devpilot prices plans in US Dollars (USD). If you check out through Flutterwave you may be charged in Nigerian Naira (NGN) at the current exchange rate applied by Devpilot. The exact amount charged is shown on the checkout screen before you confirm.

Coupons

Devpilot supports coupon codes that can reduce the amount you pay at checkout. If you have a valid code, enter it on the checkout screen when subscribing. The discount, minimum order amount, and which plans the code applies to are set by the code itself, so availability varies from promotion to promotion.
